The Ventnor and District Local History Society purchased the architecturally interesting Spring Hill Premises that house the Ventnor Heritage Museum in 1987

Built in 1905 the building was originally a Furniture Shop later becoming a Car Showroom

In addition to the items on view in the Exhibition Hall, the Museum houses an extensive Archive of many thousands of items relating to Ventnor and the surrounding area including :-

Albums - Artifacts - Auction Catalogues - Books - Brochures - Certificates - Directories

Drawings - Engravings - Guides - Letters - Maps - Models - Newspapers - Paintings

Pamphlets - Photographs - Postcards - Posters - Press Cuttings - Programmes

The Museum is open Mid-April to 3rd October

Tuesday - Friday 10 am - 4.30 pm

Monday & Saturday 10 am - 12.30 pm

(Extended to 31st October Mornings only 10 am - 12.30 pm)

and throughout the year Saturday Mornings 10 am - 12.30 pm

Admission 1.50 (Accompanied Children Free)
